Metaphor Proposal 1

When I was younger, a kid came up to me and said my drawing was perfect and that my hand was a robot.

My idea was to make a robotic arm holding a pencil, drawing. But due to being busy, it was shortened to a forearm and a hand, then to just a hand.

Some process shots

Several ideas for construction of the hand. All will articulate like a real hand.

-Use fluidic muscle, as with Aric's Arm. I will use black garden hose and arrange the pieces as the way muscles
 are on a human hand.

-Carve pieces of wood to make a hand. I will sand it smooth and paint it with tones of grey, white, and black

-Make a paper model.
